Conjunctivitis epidemic: Punjab schools to remain closed from tomorrow to Monday
Private and government schools in Punjab will remain closed from tomorrow to Monday due to the conjunctivitis epidemic.
On the instructions of caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi, the Department of Schools Education has announced to keep schools closed on September 28 and 30.
On September 29, Eid Milad-ul-Nabi is a public holiday, due to which schools will remain closed.
Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi visited Government Girls High School Ravi Road in Lahore, on this occasion the Caretaker Chief Minister was angry at the presence of conjunctivitis-affected children in schools.
Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab immediately summoned the Secretary of Schools and directed private and government schools across Punjab to give holidays on Thursday and Saturday.
According to the Secretary of Schools, the decision was made to protect children from the conjunctivitis epidemic in Punjab, and the decision will be applied to schools across Punjab.
