In Punjab, the number of people affected by injection has increased to 77.
25 people in Lahore, 19 in Multan, 17 in Bahawalpur, and four in Kasur have lost their eyesight, while those who administered injections included 5 private clinics in Lahore, 4 in Bahawalpur, and 3 in Multan.
11 drug inspectors suspended for sale of injections from illegal unregistered companies.
An accused who provided injections was arrested from Multan. Caretaker Minister for Primary Health Care Punjab Jamal Nasir met the affected people at Mayo Hospital Lahore and told the media that action would be taken after receiving the report from the injection testing lab.

On the other hand, the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) has banned hospitals and pharmacies across the country from using the sight-impairing injection.
Drape officials say that no hospital, laboratory, or pharmacy has the license to repackage the injection, there are both unregistered and registered injections in the market.
Drap officials said that the imported injection should not be used until the quality check is completed, and patients should also avoid getting this injection for eye disease.
Meanwhile, DRAP has raided the offices of medicine distributors in Lahore and recovered 110 injection vials which were sent to the drug testing lab.
Chief Minister Punjab visited the affected patients
Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi visited Mayo Hospital in Lahore and visited patients affected by substandard injection.
He said that the sale of injections has been banned until the investigation report, the drug inspectors have been suspended, and the Health Care Commission and the drug inspector will also have to answer.
